With the recent opening of Quest Apartment Hotels latest property, Quest Hastings, the independently owned and operated accommodation group continues to defy today’s economic challenges.

Quest Hastings is the Group’s 41st property in New Zealand. Adrian Turner, Chief Operating Officer for Quest Apartment Hotels (NZ), says that this growth has been planned for a while and the Hastings hotel is the second of three properties opening in 2023.

“Quest has worked incredibly hard to manage the relationships with our landlords, supporting local partners, and focusing on the needs of the corporate travel market. The opening of Quest Hastings will support all of our existing corporate clients as well as open up the opportunity for new clients to experience the Quest boutique apartment hotels,” he says.

Quest Hastings is located at 304 Eastbourne Street East, Hastings. The new site sits just behind Toitoi, the new Hawkes Bay Arts & Events Centre, and is just over three kilometres from the hospital and just 300 metres from the library.

In the heart of the city, Quest Hastings is perfectly located to serve anyone visiting the Hawkes Bay, whatever the reason for travel.

Scott & Sonia Belingham will operate the new business. Scott has worked within Quest properties already, both in Australia and New Zealand, and is looking forward to taking on this challenge.

“After gaining valuable experience as a property manager with Quest in both Australia and New Zealand, I set my sights on becoming a franchisee. So when the chance to operate a brand new property in Hastings presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity,” says Scott.

“As a franchisee, I am excited to continue providing exceptional service to guests while also utilising my business skills to ensure the success of the property.”

Quest will also open its third property for 2023 in November. The Quest on Cambridge Terrace will also be the group’s third Christchurch property.
